Brigadier Sikandar Khan () SI(M) (born 9 November 1961) was the Commander Artillery IV Corps (Pakistan),〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.dawn.com/news/742296/forces-celebrate-day-with-fervour )〕 Pakistan's main Line of Defense against India, from October 2010 until July 2013. He was due to retire in 2014, but he voluntarily retired in 2013 as a one-star general to run his own security company, Ever Ready Security Management (Pvt) Ltd.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.everready.tk )〕 He was offered to be the Director of National University of Modern Languages (Lahore Campus) after his voluntary retirement in 2013 but he respectfully refused to expand his security company. Brigadier Sikandar Khan(R) is the first cousin of Maj Gen Zafar Ullah Khan (GOC 7th infantry division, Miranshah, NWA). == Army career ==
Brigadier Sikandar Khan was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the famous SHERNI Regiment, 35 Heavy Regiment Artillery Regiment of Artillery in the 65th PMA Long Course in March 1982. He has commanded an Infantry Mujahid Battalion, a Mountain Artillery Regiment, both on the Line Of Control (LOC) in Kashmir, a Divisional Artillery Brigade and has served as the Deputy Inspector General Frontier Corps (Balochistan) and served at various key staff appointments at the Division, Corps and Unit level.
Brigadier Sikandar Khan(R) has served in the Military Intelligence (MI) as a Captain on the Western Border and as a Major in the interior Sindh. He is a Graduate of Command and Staff College (Quetta), National Defense University (Islamabad), University of Balochistan (Quetta), Canadian Forces College (Toronto) and National University of Modern Languages (Lahore).
As a Major, Brigadier Sikandar Khan(R) has served as a company commander/Term Commander in the prestigious Pakistan Military Academy(PMA), Kakul, Abbottabad and as a 2IC in his parent unit 35 Self-Propelled (SP) Heavy Artillery Regiment. He has also served as General Staff Officer-2 (GSO-2) in 14th Infantry Division. He also graduated Command and Staff College (Quetta) as a major and received his bachelor's Degree (Command and Staff Course). As a Lieutenant Colonel, Brigadier Sikandar Khan(R) has served as General Staff Officer-1 (GSO-1) at Headquarters Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) in Karachi and General Staff Officer-1 (GSO-1) at Headquarters XXX Corps (Gujranwala). In 2005, Brigadier Sikandar Khan was promoted as FBTS (Fit Brigadier Two Step). During his 1 year of service as a Full Colonel (Colonel), he served as Colonel Staff at Headquarters 8th Infantry Division (Sialkot).
As a Brigadier, Khan took over the command of Artillery for 8th Infantry Division. In 2007, Brigadier Khan was selected to attend Canadian Forces College (Toronto) where he displayed brilliant performance and received commendation letter from Chief Of Army Staff. He also received his Masters Degree in National Security Studies (NSSP-9)〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://walterdorn.net/pdf/CV_Dorn_Academic-Format_Mas_8Oct2013.pdf )〕 from Canadian Forces College (Toronto). During his stay at CFC (Toronto), Brigadier Sikandar Khan(R) visited the United Nations (UN) Office in Geneva (Switzerland), NATO Headquarters (Brussels), IMF Headquarters, World Bank Headquarters and US State Department. In late 2008, he was posted as Deputy Inspector General Frontier Corps (Balochistan) Quetta where he commanded approximately 48,000 Frontier Corps troops. During his stay as DIG FC Balochistan, he was a member of tripartite negotiation team (Pakistan, Afghanistan and Canada) and attended meetings in UAE and Murree (Pakistan). He also studied at University of Balochistan (Quetta) while serving as DIGFC (Balochistan) and received his Masters Degree in International Relations.
As DIGFC (Balochistan), Brigadier Sikandar Khan(R) has worked jointly with United States Army and ISAF and was awarded by Force Commander (ISAF) Afghanistan for his co-operation and support. In 2010, Brigadier Sikandar Khan(R) was posted as Commander Artillery IV Corps (Lahore). In 2012, he completed his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from National University of Modern Languages (Lahore) and received his MBA (HR) Degree. In early 2012, Brigadier Sikandar Khan(R) became the Chairman of SWOL( Soldier Welfare Organization Lahore) and managed all commercial ventures including Fortress Stadium in Lahore.
In July 2013, Brigadier Sikandar Khan retired voluntarily and started his own security company," Ever Ready Security Management (Pvt) Ltd", which has locations in Lahore, Islamabad, Multan and Rawalpindi. He has also started his new business in Renewable Energy sector by the name of Solar Vision (Pvt) Ltd, a joint venture of pm e of Germany.The company provides German Home Solar systems.
